Hey, I'm Toby - a full-time software engineer. My current day-to-day is spent developing a safe and secure e-commerce platform serving video-games to millions of customers worldwide at Green Man Gaming. I'm also involved in co-developing an open-source project called generate-license-file, to remove the hassle out of software license compliance for other developers.
This website was built using React, Next.js, and Hygraph CMS; containerised and hosted on Google Cloud Run.
Projects
An npm package to generate a text file containing all of the licences for your production, third-party dependencies. Initially prototyped with a friend as a CLI utility to meet the 'software licensing' dissertation criterion, I'm proud to say this library has since gone through 3 major releases. The package has had community interactions both in the form of code additions and active discussion to provide feedback and drive future improvements.
